Hello there. I’m Nadine.
In my work as a Performance Consultant, I pour my energy, care and focus into helping people in business, sport and life expand into the fullest version of themselves, so that they can achieve what they are truly capable of, by consistently managing their own performance and wellbeing to deliver results.
Supporting the person behind the performance is and always will be at the heart of my work. Why? Because you are the one constant force in every performance equation and your ability to remain focused, present, skilful and grounded against the backdrop of chaos, uncertainty and confusion will always be within your control.
I believe that there is a gap in our current societal, cultural and educational models that fail to adequately teach us to be that constant force. It is my purpose and mission to fill that gap.
In 2006, I founded Odyssí (pronounced Odyssey, but with a Gaelic twist) Consulting, a training and coaching organisation specialising in HR and Leadership Development. In 2013, I re-launched the company as Be the Best You Can Be, incorporating Odyssí’s key tools, methodologies, learning’s and successes into a larger framework on High Performance, Leadership Development and Cultural Change.
Since establishing the business, my commitments and energies have been focused on supporting individuals and teams to achieve outstanding performance in business, sport and life. I have developed hundreds of leaders to lead with authenticity, passion, purpose and focus and have helped to embed high performance purpose-driven cultures in organisations and sporting teams. In addition, my previous experience as a Board Member further honed my skills at a strategic level.
My experience in sport, where my organisation has been the exclusive provider of Executive Coaching Services to CEO’s, Senior Managers and High Performance Professionals across the sector since 2012, has given me the opportunity to support and develop those at the top of their game and professions.
I have extensive experience in lecturing on Post-Graduate courses and have spoken and facilitated Workshops at International and National Conferences on leadership and organisational performance.
Training & Credentials
My work in almost twenty years of practice is based on a strong foundation of research and ongoing professional education and development. A combination of receiving a BA Honours Degree in Business and Languages from the University of Central Lancashire along with exposure to the HR aspects of a manager’s role an early stage in my development, led me to pursue further qualifications and a career in Human Resources. Since then, I’ve never stopped learning and have national and international qualifications in HR, Training and Development, Executive Coaching and NLP.
I have also studied and practiced Leadership Transformation and Systems Thinking through MIT Boston as well as Transactional Analysis, Psychometric Testing, Personality Profiling, Positive Neuroplasticity, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness. In addition I am a qualified and experienced Yoga Teacher. These methodologies and practices form the backbone of my work.
